Storage HyR
RESIDENTIAL HYDROGEN STORAGE SYSTEM
HyR, the residential hydrogen storage system, efficiently stores excess solar energy in the form of hydrogen, providing an economical, year-round solution for long-term domestic energy storage. The stored hydrogen produces electricity and heat simultaneously, which the user can use as needed.
Independent and personal energy transformation
HyR is installed in single-family homes, together with the existing battery and inverter, providing carbon dioxide-free electricity 24/7 throughout the year. The energy comes exclusively from the sun, which is captured through photovoltaic modules on the roof. Your solar energy can be used as green hydrogen throughout the year. This system enables personal energy transformation, making you less susceptible to the effects of rising electricity prices and even power outages, giving you maximum independence.
With this system, you can enjoy a sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle. Not only does it reduce your carbon footprint, but it also gives you greater control over your energy usage and costs. Adopting HyR means taking a step towards a greener and more cost-effective future.

System Advantages and Technical Features

During the summer day, the solar energy captured on the roof will be stored in the existing batteries. Excess solar energy from the roof is converted into hydrogen by an electrolyser in the HyR and stored for use in the winter. Even the waste heat generated is stored in the hot water tank and is available for use. During summer nights, customers can still power their homes using the electricity stored in the existing batteries.

At any time during the winter, when solar energy is not sufficient, the seasonal hydrogen storage module in the HyR system ensures that users’ homes receive the electricity they need. With the help of the fuel cells in the system, the stored hydrogen will be used to generate electricity. It also heats users’ homes and reduces their heating bills.

Integrated EMS
The system integrates hydrogen production, charging and control of fuel cell cogeneration. It not only improves the cooperation between system modules, but also simplifies the system control structure and reduces costs. In addition, the control system also supports remote monitoring, remote start and stop, and power regulation.
Highly integrated modular design
The system is divided into three parts: hydrogen production container, hydrogen storage container and fuel cell container and EMS.
High level explosion protection design
Cold start design
The system includes a cold start unit, which can achieve quick start at -20℃. This improves the product's adaptability for use in cold areas, such as the north.
